Kate Koenig is a singer/songwriter, music teacher, and music journalist based in Brooklyn, New York. Before they began writing for Acoustic Guitar in 2017, they were the editor of Music Alive!, an in-classroom music education magazine for middle schoolers, for 16 issues. Today, they're a regular contributor to Acoustic Guitar, Premier Guitar, the annual Martin Journal, and Guitar Girl Magazine.
