JANET
Janet Noguera is a Mexican-American modern fingerstyle guitarist and composer. With an energetic approach that blends a wide variety of styles, concepts, and advanced techniques, Janet creates an innovative, imaginative, and unexpected soundscape with the acoustic guitar.
ELSIE
London-based Elsie Franklin sings and plays acoustic country-blues, ragtime, and jazz on her trusty National resonator. In her teaching, Elsie specializes in traditional styles of fingerpicking guitar and draws influence from legendary female blues artists such as Memphis Minnie and Bessie Smith.
JACKSON
Jackson Emmer is an award-winning songwriter, folksinger, and genre-bending artist from Santa Cruz, California. His work blends humor with heartache, and tradition with exploration. He’s opened for Robert Earl Keen, Sierra Ferrell, Band of Heathens, Carsie Blanton, and co-written 75+ songs with folk legend Tom Paxton.
MORGAN
Morgan Harris specializes in traditional North American stringband (or ‘old time’) music. Her distinctive playing technique creates a rhythmic drive and multi-layered resonance that is unique in the world of flatpicked guitar. In addition to performing extensively across the US, she leads workshops and teaches at camps like Wheatland Traditional Arts Weekend and Valley of the Moon Scottish Fiddling Camp.
GREG
Guitarist, teacher, and composer Greg Ruby inhabits many musical forms and brings his compositional voice to each of them – from acoustic swing to jazz manouche to surf music. He has taught at Django in June, DjangoFest NW, The Seattle Jazz Night School, and is the Guitar Week Coordinator for the Swannanoa Gathering.
