Hey, fellow guitarist! AcousticGuitar.com is here to support you with fantastic articles (like this one.) If you like what we do, please give $1 (or whatever you can afford) in support of our work.

After meeting with guitar players, professional artists, and producers, Yamaha has refined its A-series line of guitars to create a “professional-level instrument for everyone.” Updates include: endpin battery boxes, scalloped bracing, and ARE-aged top wood.

Watch above as Dennis Webster of Yamaha walk us through the new A-series; A1, A3, and the handmade A5. Then, Carl Tosten does some side-by-side comparisons of old vs. new A-series guitars.

Finally, we get a look at the new nylon-string silent classical guitar, the SLG200NW.
