Yonder Mountain guitarist Adam Aijala says the band has been a part of the festival since its inception: “2016 marks the 15th Northwest String Summit and we are honored to have been a part of it from the very beginning. Over the years, friendships have been forged on and offstage, and for many of us it it has become an annual reunion. You will always find an amazing group of singers and pickers, and it’s the festival myself and the rest of Yonder Mountain look forward to year after year.”

Sharing the bill — and each performing two nights — are Greensky Bluegrass, Leftover Salmon, the Infamous Stringdusters, Fruition, Shook Twins, Danny Barnes, Ben Sollee, Wood & Wire, Billy Strings, Cabinet, and Horseshoes & Hand Grenades. The lineup also includes Railroad Earth, Keller Williams with More Than A Little, Keller Williams’ Grateful Gospel, Steep Canyon Rangers, the Brothers Comatose, Polyrhythmics, John Craigie, Rabbit Wilde, The Lowest Pair, March Fourth, and Della Mae.
