We’re always happy to give a little exposure to one of our own, so here’s a great way to start your week: In a meeting  of Upstate New York and New England musical powerhouses, Acoustic Guitar‘s founding Editor and current Editor-at- Large, Jeffrey Pepper Rodgers, along with frequent duo partner Wendy Sassafras Ramsay, team up with the Phil Henry Acoustic Trio for a wonderfully creative acoustic version of the Cheap Trick classic “I Want You to Want Me,” originally released in 1977, and a pleasant Classic Rock earworm ever since.  This arrangement totally turns the song on its head, in a good way, so give it a spin!

And if you’d like to know more about the arrangement and the video, check out Jeffrey’s account of how it all went down.  —Blair Jackson
