Chet Atkins
Also known as "Mr. Guitar" and "The Country Gentleman," Chet Atkins (1924–2001) was a country musician known for his distinctive picking style, inspired by Merle Travis, on acoustic and electric guitar. Atkins earned many fans and disciples outside of country to become one of the most celebrated guitarists of all time.
