Inspired by the Tony Rice tribute D-28 Bourgeois Guitars built and auctioned in 2014, Dana Bourgeois (AG‘s resident Guitar Guru) brings a new OM to Winter NAMM 2017. Watch above as Courtney Hartman of Della Mae (also, check out her excellent new solo EP Nothing We Say) performs a traditional fiddle tune on the OM.

The OM features a large soundhole — like its 1935 D-28 inspiration — plus a torrefied Adirondack spruce top with Brazilian back and sides. Bourgeois calls the OM a “famously versatile guitar” perfect for flatpicking — as Hartman demonstrates.
