Matt Andersen stopped by the AG studio in support of his latest album, Honest Man, which is brimming with bluesy rock songs and soaring acoustic jams.

Watch above as the Canadian (dig that maple-leaf inlay!) displays his soulful baritone and hummingbird fingers on “The Gift,” “Honest Man,” and “Quiet Company.”

Of the title track, Andersen says it is perhaps his most politically charged song. It was inspired by a carton of Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders at a political debate.
